Sempervivum 'Gay Jester' is a vibrant and cheerful Hen and Chicks variety with rosettes that display vivid, multi-toned colouring, often combining green, red, and bronze in shifting proportions throughout the year. It is a vigorous grower that produces offsets freely, quickly forming a colourful, low-growing mat. Full of personality and easy to grow, it brings year-round colour and interest to rock gardens, borders, containers, and living arrangements.

☀️ Sun	Full sun to partial shade. The most vivid colours develop in full sun.
⚠️ Toxicity	Non-toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
💧 Watering	Very low. Every 2 to 3 weeks in summer, monthly or less in cooler months.
🌱 Fertilising	Rarely needed. A light spring feed is optional.
📏 Mature Size	Rosettes 6 to 10cm wide. Spreads enthusiastically via offsets.
