Ordering

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our shop, choose the arrangement or gift that speaks to you, and add it to your cart. At checkout you can add a personalised gift message and your preferred delivery date.

Important: Live plants can only be shipped to ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC due to biosecurity laws.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?

Because our succulents are living, seasonal plants, each arrangement is lovingly curated from the freshest, healthiest varieties available at the time. That means yours may vary slightly from the photo in the exact plants or colours used, but it will always be styled to the same beautiful standard. If you'd love particular varieties, email us before ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Can I customise an arrangement?

Absolutely! We love creating something unique. Get in touch with us at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au before placing your order and we'll work with you to create the perfect custom arrangement.

Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?

Yes! Succulents make gorgeous favours and gifts for weddings, baby showers, corporate events and parties. We offer special pricing for bulk orders, plus custom pots and branding options to suit your occasion. Contact us directly at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au to discuss your requirements and get a custom quote.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We ship live plants to ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC. Due to Australian biosecurity laws, we cannot ship live plants to WA, NT, or Tasmania.

How long does delivery take?

Courier shipping: 3-7 business days.

Local delivery and pickup available in Central Coast, NSW from Tascott.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is $15 Australia-wide.

Will my plants survive being shipped in a box?

Yes! Succulents are wonderfully hardy and cope really well with a few days in the dark during transit. They may arrive looking a little thirsty or slightly faded in colour, but they bounce back quickly once unboxed and settled into good light. If anything doesn't look right when it arrives, just email us with a photo and we'll sort it out.

Will my plants be okay shipped in cold weather?

Generally, yes. We only ship to the milder eastern states (ACT, NSW, QLD, SA and VIC), and succulents are tough little things that handle short cold spells in transit without trouble, so there's no need to worry about them freezing on the way to you.

Will the soil spill and make a mess in the box?

No, every arrangement is packed carefully and secured so the soil stays put and your gift arrives looking beautiful and presentable, ready to hand straight to the lucky recipient.

Plant Care

How often should I water my succulent?

Less is more! Water thoroughly but infrequently - about once every 1-2 weeks in summer, less in winter. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. When in doubt, wait another week!

Do the gift pots have drainage holes?

Yes, our pots are designed to drain, so you can water thoroughly and let the excess run out the bottom. Just tip out any water that collects in the saucer or tray so the roots never sit in water, and your succulents will stay happy and healthy.

What type of light do succulents need?

Bright, indirect light is ideal. A sunny windowsill works perfectly. Avoid direct harsh sunlight which can scorch the leaves, but ensure they get plenty of light throughout the day.

How long will my succulents last?

Unlike cut flowers that fade within a week, succulents are a gift that keeps on giving! With the right care, bright indirect light and the occasional water, they'll happily live for many months to several years, and can even be repotted or propagated as they grow. The main thing to avoid is overwatering.

Do you provide care instructions?

Absolutely! Every order includes detailed care instructions specific to your plants. If you have any questions please drop us an email and we will get back to you with an answer.

Gifting

Can I include a gift message?

Yes! Add a personalised message at checkout and we'll include a beautiful handwritten note with your gift. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarming, or just because!

Can I add extras like a card, candle or chocolates?

Every gift comes with a free handwritten note carrying your personalised message. We don't currently offer add-on extras like candles or chocolates, but if you have a special request in mind, email Lynette at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au and we'll see what we can do.

Can I send a gift directly to someone?

Absolutely! Simply enter their delivery address at checkout. We'll include your gift message and ensure it arrives looking beautiful. No pricing information is included with gift orders.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every arrangement comes beautifully presented and ready to gift! Our signature packaging includes eco-friendly wrapping, care instructions, and your personalised note.

Returns & Support

What if my plants arrive damaged?

We're so sorry if this happens! Contact us immediately with photos at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Due to the living nature of our products, returns are only accepted for damaged or incorrect items. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if there's an issue.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible! If we haven't started preparing your order, we can cancel it for a full refund. Once preparation begins, cancellation may not be possible.

Custom & Support

Can I order a custom succulent arrangement?

Absolutely, custom arrangements are one of our favourite things to make! Whether you have an empty planter waiting for the right moment or a completely wild idea in mind, email Lynette at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au before placing your order and we'll work with you to design something special. Do you make custom macramé?

How do custom orders work?

It all starts with a chat! Email us your ideas and we'll talk through the details, timing and pricing before creating your one-of-a-kind piece. Custom orders take a little longer than ready-made items, so please get in touch early, especially if it's for a special date.
