SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping with The Succulent Gift Co.! We take great care packaging every order so your plants and gifts arrive safely and in perfect condition. Please read this policy so you know exactly what to expect.



WHERE WE SHIP


We ship Australia-wide to the following states and territories:


- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

- New South Wales (NSW)

- Queensland (QLD)

- South Australia (SA)

- Victoria (VIC)


Important — Biosecurity Restrictions


Due to Australian biosecurity and quarantine laws, we are unable to ship live plants to:


- Western Australia (WA)

- Northern Territory (NT)

- Tasmania (TAS)


If an order containing live plants is placed to one of these restricted states or territories, it will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your understanding — these restrictions are outside our control.


Non-plant items (such as macrame, accessories, and craft supplies) may be eligible for shipping to restricted states. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether your item can be shipped to your location.



SHIPPING RATES


Shipping calculated at checkout - shipped via Australia Post Express


Free Shipping — Orders Over $100

Enjoy free courier shipping on all orders over $100 (to eligible states). The free shipping threshold is calculated on your order subtotal after any discounts have been applied.


Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment is taken.



PROCESSING TIMES


Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment being received. During busy periods (such as Mother's Day, Christmas, and Valentine's Day), processing times may be slightly longer. We will always do our best to keep you informed if there are any delays.


Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.



DELIVERY TIMES


Once dispatched, estimated delivery timeframes are:


- NSW (non-local): 1-3 business days

- ACT: 2-4 business days

- QLD: 3-6 business days

- SA: 3-6 business days

- VIC: 3-5 business days


These are estimates provided by our courier and are not guaranteed. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on your location, carrier capacity, and any unforeseen circumstances. Remote or rural addresses may take longer.


We are a small studio-based business and do not currently offer express shipping. If you need your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to help.



TRACKING YOUR ORDER


Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details. You can use these details to track your parcel directly with the carrier.


If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder first, then contact us at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au



LOCAL DELIVERY AND PICKUP — CENTRAL COAST, NSW


We offer local delivery and pickup for customers on the Central Coast, NSW.


Local Pickup

Pickup is available from our studio in Tascott, NSW. Once your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange a suitable pickup time.


Local Delivery

Local delivery is available to select Central Coast suburbs. Delivery is available for an additional fee, which will be calculated at checkout.


Premade Arrangements — Local Only

Our premade succulent arrangements are available for local Central Coast delivery or pickup only. These items cannot be shipped via courier. If you add a premade arrangement to your cart, only local delivery and pickup options will be shown at checkout.


Please note that local delivery and pickup times are subject to availability. We will be in touch after your order is placed to confirm arrangements.



PACKAGING AND PLANT CARE IN TRANSIT


We take extra care to ensure your plants travel safely. Every live plant order is carefully packed with protective materials to minimise movement and stress during transit.


To give your plants the best chance of arriving in great condition, please:

- Bring your parcel inside as soon as possible after delivery

- Open the box promptly and allow your plants to breathe

- Do not leave parcels in direct sunlight or extreme heat


If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the plants immediately and contact us within 48 hours. We will do our best to make it right.



LOST OR DELAYED ORDERS


If your tracking information shows no movement for more than 5 business days, or if your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at lynette@thesucculentgiftco.com.au or call us on +61 405 609 354.


We will investigate with the carrier on your behalf. Please note that once an order has been dispatched, delivery is in the hands of the carrier and we are unable to guarantee delivery times. We will do everything we can to help resolve any issues.



INCORRECT ADDRESS


Please ensure your delivery address is correct before completing your order. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Redelivery shipping costs will be at the customer's expense.
