One of the most eye-catching succulents you can grow, Firesticks is a pencil-stemmed beauty from East Africa that earns its name with vivid orange, red, and yellow colouring during the cooler months. In warmer weather the stems settle to a cheerful lime green, making it a year-round statement plant. Its architectural, coral-like form looks stunning in large pots, raised garden beds, or as a focal point in a dry garden. Over time it develops a woody base and can grow into an impressive shrub.

☀️ Sun	Full sun. More sun means more vivid colouring.
⚠️ Toxicity	Highly toxic. The milky sap causes severe skin and eye reactions and is poisonous if ingested. Always wear gloves and eye protection. Keep away from children and pets.
💧 Watering	Very low. Every 2-3 weeks in summer, once a month or less in cooler months. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.
🌿 Fertilising	Once in spring with a diluted balanced fertiliser.
