Echeveria agavoides 'Corderoyi' f. cristata (Japanese Form) - Rare

    Low Stock

This is one of the most extraordinary succulents in existence. A cristata, or crested, form of Echeveria agavoides 'Corderoyi', it displays a rare mutation where the growing point has fanned out into a wide, undulating crest instead of the typical rosette, creating a form that resembles a coral reef, a brain, or an abstract sculpture. Each crested succulent is completely unique and one of a kind. The Japanese form indicates it was developed and selected in Japan, where crested succulents are particularly prized and meticulously cultivated for their aesthetic quality. This is a true collector's piece.

📐 Current Size 5-7 cm across (May 2026)
☀️ Sun Bright, indirect light to gentle morning sun. Avoid harsh afternoon sun.
⚠️ Toxicity Non-toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
💧 Watering Every 10 to 14 days in summer, once a month or less in winter. Crested forms can be more susceptible to rot, so always err on the side of underwatering.
🌱 Fertilising Once in spring with a very diluted succulent fertiliser.
📏 Mature Size Variable and unpredictable as the crest fans uniquely. Typically 10 to 20cm wide.
🌿 Difficulty Moderate to challenging. Crested forms are generally more sensitive than standard plants.
🎨 Colours Bright green with deep red to burgundy edges, fanned into a rippling sculptural crest.
    🛡️ Disease Resistant Moderate.
    🏜️ Drought Tolerant Good.
    🔥 Heat Tolerant Moderate.
🪨 Poor Soil Yes, with excellent drainage.
📝 Notes A true collector's gem. No two crested plants are ever alike. May produce normal rosette growth alongside the crest, which should be removed to preserve the crested form.
