Aeonium 'Sunburst' is one of the most spectacular succulents you can grow, producing large, flat rosettes of broad leaves beautifully striped in green, cream, and yellow, often flushed with pink at the edges in cooler weather or bright light. It grows on a branching, woody stem that gives it a tree-like form over time. Unlike most succulents, Aeoniums actively grow in winter and go semi-dormant in the heat of summer, when they may curl their leaves inward to conserve moisture. Native to the Canary Islands, this plant loves mild, coastal conditions and is a magnificent specimen for sheltered gardens and large containers.
